   Good morning everyone!
Its going to be a beautiful day!

I wanted to thank all of you personally from the bottom of my heart for your support, your questions, your emails, your comments, and your desire to start learning how to make do without missing a thing.
I have really enjoyed this series, and have been trying to choose from among many ideas as to what I should share next. As I am sure you have figured out, we do a lot of things unusually around here at The Welcoming House, and I am always looking for a way to make things myself for my family, for my mother (who lives nearby and is one of my biggest supporters), and others.
I want to thank those of you who have shared their own ideas and ways that you do things at home to add to others knowledge. I hope that you will continue to do that! In fact, if you have a post on your blog, I want to encourage you to direct others to it at the end of this post with leaving your blog post address, and I will move the links into the body of this post for you!
There is SO much that you can do on your own to bring your grocery bill down. You will know exactly what is going into your family's tummies, and you will be able to control the additives and eliminate the chemicals and such that companies put into things to keep them shelf stable for a zillion years.
I have been checking out other blogs today thanks to some wonderful women on my Dehydrating More Than Jerky page over on FB, and adding that on to talking to my brother about starting from scratch, I wanted to let you know that there are many many options out there.

If you garden (or purchase at a farmer's market)........

If you can your own home-grown items......
   Or dehydrate them...........

If you watch for sales........

   If you shop smart..............
   If you plan ahead........

If you are careful which appliances you choose to invest in......

If you determine to cut corners by substituting time and making mixes................

Then you too, will not miss a thing.

Your family will eat better than it ever has, and it will be healthier food.

You will feel the personal satisfaction and security of having a well stocked pantry and ability to pull meals together in a very short time.

You will look at your grocery budget and slowly be able to replace the unhealthier foods with ones that are very worth the pennies you spend on them.
And more than anything else, you will know what it feels like to have a job well done. :)

My blog will very soon be getting a makeover where we will have a bar above with drop down menus, recipes, devotions/encouragement, and where I will begin to post my different giveaways. I hope you will enjoy it.
Once it is up, I plan on having a Grand Opening Week where I will be sharing giveaways, and having the opportunity to share this blog, and our page over on FB. I hope you will join us--only a short time now!
I have been blessed with the opportunity to review another blogger's book that is coming out on the market soon---but it is also the week I celebrate my Irish/Scotch heritage and my darling twin babies' 2nd birthday (can you hear me bawling?).
So check back tomorrow for some seriously fun postings, and celebrate with us!

Many Blessings to you and yours,
Heather
